Marchfest Craft Beer Festival 2013-2020

We have proudly event managed this iconic Nelson festival for nearly 10 years!

 

We welcome over 3,500 people every year in March, to Founders Park, to taste the best of Nelson and NZ Craft beer.

We own and deliver the NZ Cider Festival, now in its 5th year. This includes managing the annual Cider Association awards.

 

Over 2,500 people attend this annual festival celebrating all things Cider, the only festival of its kind in NZ.

We proudly own the Nelson Parent & Child Expo, an annual Expo for all things parenting related.

 

Held at Founders Park with approx. 2,000 attending.

Masters Electrical Annual Conference 2019

IDEAL Electrical Festival of Fun

We worked closely with our client and event managed this fun evening at Founders Park as part of their annual conference.

This included booking all suppliers, event logistics and running the bar.

We recreated a mini beer festival and entertainment for 300 guests.

J.A. Russell Awards Evening

This was the Awards Evening at Trafalgar Centre for their annual conference.

We event managed including booking all suppliers, event logistics, venue set up and running the bar.

300 guests.

South Island Civil Defence Conference 2019

We worked alongside the Conference Organisers - OnCue Conferences to create a mini Nelson beer/wine tasting experience as part of their conference dinner. 

We also set up and ran the bar during dinner.

Chamber of Commerce Business Awards 2019

Assisting with event set up and running the bar for 500 guests at this local awards evening

Sport Tasman Annual Awards Dinner 2017/2018/2019

We have event managed this evening for the past three years, including full set up of the venue, event staffing, running the bar and arranging suppliers for 300 guests

Netball New Zealand Super Club Tournament 2017/2018/2019

For the past three years, we have run the GA bar and cafe for the full week of the Superclub tournament, this included arranging VIP catering for teams and VIP guests. 

7 Days Live Show 2018/2019

Nelson Venues has provided the busy bar service for the 7 Days Live roadshow for 1,500 guests for the past 2 years.

Maclab 2019

The Boathouse

Nelson Venues provided event management services for MacLabs launch ceremony of their new harvesting vessel. This included; invitation and RSVP management, set up of venue, liasing and booking suppliers, on the day event management for 150 guests.

This also included their staff Christmas party.

Pics Peanut Butter Grand Opening 2019

We provided bar service including set up of the venue, liaising with suppliers and staff management and booking entertainment for the Pics grand opening. These were two separate events across two evenings - An evening for 250 VIP invited guests and then a Staff Party. 

The Hollies Concert 2019

We provided full bar service including sourcing local beverages, liquor licence application, staffing and set up of the venue for 1500 guests.

Tactix Netball 2017/2018/2019

We arranged GA and team catering for the game, including managing the GA and VIP bar service.

Placemakers/Mico NZ CPD Training 2018/2019

Annesbrook Events Centre

We event managed the entire event, including bar service, liasing and booking catering and set up of the venue for 250 guests.

Construction Marketing Services 2018/2019

Multiple Roadshow Events - We event managed these including bar service, liasing and booking catering the set up of the venue for 250 guests.

Waimea Dam Ground breaking Ceremony 2019

The Waimea Dam Site

We event managed the ground breaking ceremony of the newly built Waimea Dam Site.

This included consultation with local iwi, council representatives, arranging access to a 4WD site, booking catering and suppliers, VIP invites and RSVP's, following H&S guidelines.  

Nelson Hospitality Awards 2019

Rutherford Hotel

Full Event Management, including online awards and judging process, arranging trophies and prizes, catering and bar liaison with the venue, invites and RSVP's, booking entertainment and an MC and onsite event management for 350 guests. 

Sealord Nelson Tokatu Launch  2018

Port Nelson

Nelson Venues provided event management services for the Sealord Nelson ceremony of their new fishing boat.

This included invitations and RSVP management, set up of the venue at the Port Nelson site, liaising and booking suppliers, H&S procedures and on the day event management including bar services for 150 guests.

Brewers Guild Annual Conference Dinner 2018

Trafalgar Centre

We provided full bar service for the conference dinner, including sourcing local beverages and keg set up, full set up and pack down of the venue as well as liaising with suppliers and booking catering for 450 guests. 

All Blacks vs Argentina Rugby Game 2018

Event management of Game Day CBD activation.

Street fun and family day on the day of the game. 

We liaised and booked suppliers and entertainment, consulted with council and CBD businesses. 

We also managed the marketing for this event.
