The resort is built from handmade bricks and timber salvaged from the Nelson Wharf which was built in 1842; both our hotel and cottages are quaint in character and luxurious to stay in. A stunning lobby welcomes you, enclosed by a timber-beamed ceiling. It’s a quiet place to have a relaxing drink in the evening, looking out to scenic views across the Monaco Peninsula, the Waimea Inlet and the Kahurangi Mountain range beyond. The hotel is the ideal venue for Nelson conferences, meetings and events, catering for up to 200 people. Our village setting, beautiful grounds and excellent dining options also ensures we can cater for all types of weddings, from small intimate occasions to large affairs.
